    Rebecca Anderson PhD


    Dr. Anderson, co-owner of Florida Coast Counseling, is a Licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience serving individuals in both Massachusetts and Florida. She brings deep expertise and a warm, grounded presence to her work, specializing in anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, and bereavement.

    She draws from a variety of evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and client-centered therapy—to create an approach tailored to each client’s needs. With compassion and clarity, Dr. Anderson helps clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move through life’s challenges with resilience, confidence, and a renewed sense of wellbeing.

     Christy, co-owner of Florida Coast Counseling located in Naples, Fl, has been a licensed therapist serving the community for almost 20 years. She is best known for providing therapy to other therapists and working professionals, and she is a qualified supervisor for interns. Christy is passionate about treating both women and men deal with real life issues, decrease shame, and improve quality of life. She has lived experience with cancer and is eager to provide a space for others on their health journey. She also uses EMDR and a holistic person centered approach to treatment. She also enjoys supporting college age students, young professionals, and older individuals in life transitions.

    Chelsea Birmingham, MSAP, LMHC

    Chelsea is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a strong specialization in addiction treatment. She is passionate about helping adults navigate the challenges of substance use and recovery by providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.

    Chelsea utilizes a person-centered approach and Motivational Interviewing to foster trust, enhance motivation, and support clients through every stage of the recovery process. She also incorporates cognitive restructuring techniques, boundary-setting skills, and strategies for positive behavior change to promote lasting sobriety and overall well-being.

    In addition to addiction, Chelsea works with individuals facing co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger management, and relationship difficulties. Her collaborative and supportive style empowers clients to gain insight, build resilience, and make meaningful progress toward their treatment goals.

    Angelina Papazova, MS, CRC, RMHCI

     Angelina is a registered mental health counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor intern who is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to wellness. In her practice, she focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques in order to help clients develop practical skills to manage and navigate life stress. She wants her clients to feel heard and understood, empowered to make positive changes in their lives, achieve their goals, and enhance overall well-being. As a first-generation immigrant, Angelina brings a culturally mindful perspective to her practice understanding the unique challenges and strengths that come with diverse backgrounds. Angelina is fluent in Bulgarian. Angelina and works with children, adolescents and adults.

    Tracy Onal, MA, RMHCI

    Tracy is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who works with individuals, couples, and children. She believes the therapeutic relationship should be rooted in authenticity, trust, and collaboration, creating a space where clients feel safe to grow and explore. Tracy takes a strength-based approach, helping clients tap into their resilience while working toward meaningful change. She draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to support clients in building stronger relationships and navigating life’s challenges.

    Tracy is certified as a Level 2 Gottman Therapist and an EFT Certified Therapist, bringing specialized expertise to her work with couples and families. Her compassionate, evidence-based approach fosters emotional connection, healing, and personal empowerment.

    Shivani Patel, M.Ed. & Ed.S., RMFTI

     

    Shivani is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who earned her master’s degree from the University of Florida. She has experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children, providing compassionate support across a wide range of relational and emotional concerns.

    Shivani integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Structural Family Therapy, to create a collaborative and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, strengthen relationships, and foster personal growth.

    With a client-centered focus, Shivani is committed to empowering those she works with by equipping them with practical tools and the motivation needed to create lasting, positive change.

    Emily Korolevich, MS, LMFT

      

    Emily is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.  Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is committed to providing culturally responsive care to her clients. As a trauma-informed therapist, Emily draws on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) to help individuals process and heal from past trauma. With a warm, collaborative approach, she supports clients in navigating a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. Emily also works with couples and families to improve communication and strengthen connection. She is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment that restores hope and promotes personal growth.

    Izzah Zainab, MA, RMHCI

     Izzah received her Master’s degree from NYU and has worked with diverse populations across New York City and internationally. With a warm, relational style, Izzah connects deeply with her clients, helping them navigate their struggles, strengths, emotions, and relationships with the self and the world. She blends traditional, modern, and creative approaches, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theories, relational theory, and imaginative tools like storytelling, metaphor, and role-play. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses a trauma-informed lens in her work. Izzah is currently practicing as a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and works with children, adolescents and adults.

    Mary Lisa Grimmer, MA, LMHC

       

    Mary Lisa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 23 years of experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, grief, stress management, substance use, domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood trauma, chronic illness, and chronic pain. Mary Lisa’s therapeutic approach is client-focused and integrative, drawing from mindfulness-based strategies and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to promote healing, insight, and lasting change. With deep compassion and clinical expertise, she creates a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward greater well-being.

    Skyler is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with experience supporting young children, adolescents, and teens. Rooted in a person-centered approach, she emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship. Skyler integrates evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt therapy to help clients build emotional resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change.

    Passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals, Skyler brings a deep commitment to advocacy and inclusion—particularly through her active involvement in the autism community. She also values the use of creative modalities such as improvisation, role-play, and art-making to foster self-expression and emotional growth.

    Skyler provides compassionate, individualized care to those navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and issues related to self-worth. Her work is grounded in the belief that every client deserves a safe, affirming, and supportive space to explore and grow.

    Micki Besse, MS, MA, RMHCI

     

    Micki is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with experience supporting adults, familes, and couples. She approaches therapy with compassion and integrates evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

    Micki has specialized training in working with first and last responders, and understands the unique emotional and psychological challenges they often experience. She also draws from her background supporting survivors of domestic violence, trauma, neglect, abandonment, depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and life transitions.

    With a holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centered perspective, Micki creates a supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families can explore their concerns and work toward meaningful goals. Grounded in empathy, respect, and empowerment, she is committed to helping clients achieve emotional well-being and lasting positive change.

    Stephanie House, MS, LMHC

    Stephanie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who believes the heart of effective therapy is a strong client–therapist connection. She creates a safe, collaborative, and mindful space that supports clients through any stage of their healing journey, grounding her work in empathy, authenticity, and a whole-person approach. She has experience with diverse clients and concerns, including anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, depression, PTSD/C-PTSD, and relational challenges. While she works with all populations, she feels particularly connected to adolescents, young adults, and LGBTQ clients.

    Stephanie specializes in trauma-informed care and holds certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also a certified yoga instructor and registered Trauma-Informed Yoga practitioner, integrating body-based awareness techniques similar to somatic therapies. She approaches every client with compassion and respect for their unique experience, hoping they feel truly seen and supported.

    Stephen Bridges, MSW, RSWI

      Stephen is a registered clinical social work intern committed to providing person-centered and collaborative treatment throughout an individual's healing journey. Stephen received his Master in Social Work degree from Florida State University and has been working with adult individuals with a range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and more. Stephen utilizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT in session, aiming to foster a safe environment where collaboration and education thrive! Stephen is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses a trauma-informed lens in his work. Whether you're seeking short-term support or long-term growth, Stephen is dedicated to helping you build resilience and achieve your goals.
