Skyler Moore, MA, RMHCI
Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Skyler is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with experience supporting young children, adolescents, and teens. Rooted in a person-centered approach, she emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship. Skyler integrates evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt therapy to help clients build emotional resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change.
Passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals, Skyler brings a deep commitment to advocacy and inclusion—particularly through her active involvement in the autism community. She also values the use of creative modalities such as improvisation, role-play, and art-making to foster self-expression and emotional growth. With younger children, Skyler uses play therapy techniques including sand tray, puppets, and art-based interventions to help kids communicate and heal through play.
Skyler provides compassionate, individualized care to those navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and issues related to self-worth. Her work is grounded in the belief that every client deserves a safe, affirming, and supportive space to explore and grow.
